Hi there ! I’m a Miner fan living in Chesapeake, I’ll be heading to Lynchburg in March to catch the UTEP / Liberty basketball game. Can you guys recommend which hotels to stay at? Thanks guys and welcome to CUSA!

I really enjoyed my stay at LaQuinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham just off campus. They had super soft large towels and clean rooms.

Whatever you do, don’t stay in Madison Heights. Someone was literally filming a porn video in the room next to me. I could hear it all, the “action” and the direction. Gross!

Hope you have a great time! Some good hotels right around campus. I'd recommend either the Fairfield Inn & Suites by East Campus on Liberty Mountain or SpringHill Suites on Wards Road by Chili's. My folks & I have stayed at both locations often in the past, & both are very convenient for getting to games on campus.

If you want to explore the area while there, I'd suggest the SpringHill Suites, as you can easily get anywhere from that location, but if convenience to the campus & stadium is all you're concerned about, then I'd suggest the Fairfield Inn & Suites.

Enjoy Lynchburg! Have fond memories from my time there during undergrad & post-college.

What’s worse is that I had my three sons with me. Imagine explaining that!

And if you can do stairs I reccomend going to Monument Terrace. It’s pretty neat.
